This Nebula quilt was so much fun to work on. It was pieced by my friend Kate, and she hired me to do the long arm quilting after she finished the top at a retreat we were on earlier this month.
The quilt pattern is called Nebula by Jaybird Quilts. Our friend Heather had started piecing the middle of it but got burned out. So she passed it along to Kate who completed the rather large background areas with the awesome purples and grays. These Tula prints are amazing. I just happen to be sitting on a kit of the same name with the same fabrics that has sat in my closet untouched for the past 2 years...but now that I've seen the finished project, I'm moving that baby up on my TO-DO list!
Pantograph design for the long arm quilting is called Amethyst by Patricia Ritter, it was purchased from Urban Elementz. This is definitely one of my favorites!
